S.A.L.T. Camp

As the fall semester begins, new students are given the opportunity to learn about Texas A&M University at Galveston, to meet other incoming students, to learn and experience some of the rich traditions of Texas A&M University at Galveston, and to have fun.  S.A.L.T. Camp - or Sea Aggie Learning Traditions. This student run event is devoted to helping ease the transition to college life.

This year's campers gathered in the Gymnasium on the Mitchell Campus of Texas A&M University at Galveston on Friday before departing for Camp Cho-Yeh, near Livingston, Texas.  There they had the opportunity to participate in a few pre-camp games and to hear Dr. Brad McGonagle read "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss.
