TAMUG Students Help to Build Habitat House

Almost forty students, faculty and staff from Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) spent the recent holiday volunteering as part of the school’s second annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on January 21, 2008. TAMUG volunteers joined forces with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.) and Texas City Habitat for Humanity to host the event. Volunteers installed four walls, two interior and two exterior, secured with hurricane clips.
