Cadet Gene Tuttle receives his unit pin from his mother. On Thursday, November 29, 2007, seventy-four freshmen Cadets were sworn into the Texas Maritime Academy at Texas A&M University at Galveston. At a ceremony attended by friends and family, each freshmen Cadet was presented with a unit crest pin by an Aggie Mom. These Cadets entered the Texas Maritime Academy in August and are nearing completion of their first semester. The swearing in ceremony commemorates their efforts to date and officially welcomes them as member of the Corps of Cadets.
