Students will travel to South-Central Alaska for two weeks for this three credit hour field-based course.  For nine days, students will work at the remote Alice Cove Research Station located on a fjord in Prince William Sound.  The students will conduct research on sea otter behavior (Biology) and habitat characterization (Marine Geology) and utilization.  Opportunities will also exist for leaning about other wildlife.  In addition, five days will be spent exploring the Copper River Delta area, crossing Prince William Sound by ferry, and visiting the town of Whittier.  Course fee will be $2000, airfare to Anchorage and Cordova not included.
