The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents approved a $11.23 increase in designated tuition per semester credit hour for Texas A&M University at Galveston at their meeting on Friday, March 28, 2008.
“As always, we are mindful of how any increase in tuition will affect our student body. We do everything possible to control costs and deliver high-quality academic instruction. We continue to seek financial support from a variety of sources including additional funds for scholarships,” said Dr. R. Bowen Loftin, Vice President and CEO.
At a student forum on January 31, Dr. Loftin announced that the university was considering an increase of between $10.00 and $16.00 to cover institution operational expenses "We are pleased that we could keep the increase at the lower end of that range," Loftin. |
