The first New Student Conference for the 2008-2009 academic year is set to begin this week. There are over 200 new students registered for the first conference, making it the largest New Student Conference to date. Conference attendees will meet current students, faculty and staff while learning more about the college experience and what it means to be an Aggie. Advisors and financial aid representatives will be on-hand to assist new students and their parents in preparing for the academic year. The conference allows many new students an opportunity to experience what residence life is like at TAMUG.
