While a few of our graduates pursue advanced study immediately after obtaining their Bachelor's degree, most opt for a position in companies dealing with marine construction and design. To date we have a 100% placement rate in industry with starting salaries of approximately $50,000 per year. Earning a degree in Maritime Systems Engineering takes a lot of hard work, but it pays off with a high paying exciting career. MASE graduates are qualified to work in many different fields including the oil and gas industries, ports and harbors, shipyards and governmental agencies.
