Program Outcomes (1) sufficient knowledge of fundamental scientific principles and computational techniques for application to offshore or coastal engineering situations (2) ability to analyze, model, and solve complex problems in marine structural engineering and hydrodynamics (3) ability to design comprehensively either offshore or coastal systems or components with realistic constraints in a team setting (4) ability to effectively present design/project reports or other technical material to clients or other expert or non-expert audiences (5) an appreciation of the socioeconomic, geopolitical, ethical, and environmental issues that surround engineering in the oceans and the coastal zone
