Thesis and Summary of Research:
"Assessment of charter boat and head boat angler perception of fishery regulations and stock health in the recreational red snapper (Lutjanus campechanus) fishery in the Upper Texas Coast."


Research Consisted of:

  • 152 interviews with charter and head boat anglers

  • questions regarding angler understanding and perception of management and regulations related to the recreational red snapper fishery in Texas

  • open-ended questions to allow for additional feedback
