BS - Masters Dual Degree Program

Students in the MARS or OCRE undergraduate curricula can opt to arrange their course schedules so as to allow them to complete the Masters in Marine Resources Management with only one additional year of work.  This option permits you to leave Galveston with both a strong science background and the skills required to implement science through sound industry or government policies.  As our need to achieve sustainable use of limited coastal and marine resources, there is an increasing need for managers and policy makers who understand both the science and public policy aspects of resource use.
