Marine Biology Graduate Program
|
Welcome potential students. If you have reached this web page, we hope that you will contact us for further information! The Marine Sciences Department (MARS) is one of the strongest in the nation in terms of research and undergraduate teaching. Our faculty to student ratio in the department is less than 5:1. Beginning this coming year we will offer an intensive “field semester” course that allows students the opportunity to spend three full weeks doing coastal/marine field work while still enrolled in a full academic load. Numerous opportunities exist to work one-on-one with faculty in their labs or to work in a variety of internships. Check out the campus through a visit – and if you do, drop by the MARS office, talk with Dr. Lesko, Dr. Seitz, Dr. Estes, or Dr. Schlemmer and meet Karen, the office manager. We’d be happy to answer your questions and to show you around! E-mail a question to the Marine Sciences Undergraduate Advisor E-mail a question to the Graduate Advisor
