Vehicles and Boats:

Vehicles and boats are used for both classes and research. These assets are invaluable to field studies in surrounding beaches, bays, and marshes.

Research Instruments:

The Marine Biology Department is highly interdisciplinary. Collaboration between research faculty affords students shared use of equipment that would otherwise be too expensive take advantage of. Contact individual faculty for details.

Student Funding:

Various grants and scholarships are available each semester to students both undergraduate and graduate. These are designed to encourage students to become involved in actual funded research programs as well as to assist ongoing research programs. Contact Nicole Wilkins for details.
