America's News offers the complete electronic editions of more than 1,500 U.S. news sources, including the Galveston County Daily News, Houston Chronicle, Dallas Morning News, and other Texas news sources.
Collection of articles, reports, books, maps, charts, photographs, videocassettes, and all publications of the Galveston Bay Estuary Program. Resources are housed at the Galveston Bay Information Center, located in the Jack K. Williams Library at TAMU-Galveston.

Scanned images of maps from 1867-1970 of more than 400 Texas towns and cities. Large scale maps at a scale of 50 feet to an inch, originally drawn for fire insurance purposes. Maps list street names, block numbers in existence when drawn.
Texas Reference Center includes more than 80 full text journals and books about Texas history, ethnic & cultural diversity, gender studies, literature, public health, business as well as home & garden and sports & leisure. Includes biographies portraying famous historical and contemporary Texans as well as the Spanish-language newspaper El Sol de Texas with Texas and national news coverage. Updated weekly.
