RefWorks is an online bibliographic management program that allows users to create a personal database of references and generate bibliographies in a variety of standard formats.

Follow on-screen instructions to create a free account, selecting your own username and password.

Add citations from library databases, such as Ebsco, JSTOR, ProQuest, Lexis Nexis, Science Direct, and many others.

Manage your citations and create bibliographies in specified output styles (APA, AMA, Chicago, MLA, etc.)

Endnote is a software tool for publishing and managing bibliographies, citations, and references on your PC or Mac desktop. It is available for free to all A&M students, faculty, and staff at https://software.tamu.edu/. After completing your transaction, you will receive an email containing a download link.
Texas A&M Libraries have compiled user guides for both RefWorks and Endnote. These guides provide instructions for getting started with each product and how to get the most out of them.
