This project is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Office of Polar Programs. Local support is provide by the staff of several support groups at McMurdo Station through Raytheon Polar Services Corporation.

The research presented here is conducted under a variety of research permits, including permit # ACA2002-003 under the Antarctic Conservation Act, and permit # 821-1588 under the US Marine Mammal Protection Act.
