This image is a small thumbnail view of a Steller sea lion wire frame model. The thumbnail links to a VRML or Virtual Reality Markup Language file of a Steller sea lion model. With a VRML enabled browser, the model can be rotated and turned around to any perspective. The browser can zoom in on the model and zoom out again. The wire frame model is of a sea lion that is lying flat on its belly, with its foreflippers extended next to its body. The sea lion was in fact anesthessized when the four images were taken that were used to assemble this three dimensional model. This wire frame model shows the skin of the sea lion replaced by grey panes, rather than being a seethrough wire frame model.
