Description of Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Build a community in your assigned residence hall

  2. Be a resource and referral agent to your residents

  3. Be prepared for crisis intervention

  4. Prepare educational and social programs

  5. Attend weekly staff meetings

  6. Participate in evening and weekend duty

  7. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Job Qualifications

Community Leaders must maintain at least a 2.2 cumulative GPA to continue as a staff member.  Community Leaders must be in good employment standing both with Residence Life and Human Resources.  Community Leaders are required to return to campus prior to each semester for training and to remain on campus after each semester ends for closing.
