Description of DutiesAnd Responsibilities |
The student worker will assist Dr. Figlus in setting up laboratory experiments using coastal and ocean engineering instruments. Occasional field work may be required and will include beach profiling and collection of hydrodynamic and sediment transport data. The student worker will also be responsible to assist with data evaluation and analysis and should be able to perform guided technical literature reviews. Occasionally, help with class perparations may be required. |

Job Qualifications |
The student worker shoule be in the MASE degree sequence with an overall GPA above 2.0 and be interested in applied coastal engineering work and technology. The applicant should have good communication skills and be able to write concise technical reports. |
