Description of Duties & Responsibilities |
Assist with research analytical chemistry experiments on microbial influence on biogeochemical cycling and behavior of radionuclides (such as iodine-129, plutonium), biopolymer radionuclide carriers, and nanoparticle dissolution and toxicity. The assisted work includes sample preparation, chemical analysis of samples, data analysis and cleaning. Students need to keep consistency in working schedule and communication with mentors. |

Job Qualifications |
Chemistry background. 20 hrs/wk with availability to work up to 40 hrs/wk during the summer and during semester holidays. |
