Description of Duties  & Responsibilities

The Department of Marine Engineering Technology is looking for a student worker to help with student assignment grading for the course MARE 313 "Heat Transfer" for the Fall 2014 semester.  Grading will consist of that confined to grading homework assignments, laboratory assignments, and some course exams.  The position also may require teaching and supervising Heat Transfer laboratory experiments.  The Instructor of the Heat Transfer class, Dr. Rudy D. Martinez, PhD, PE, will instruct the potential applicant what is required concerning the Heat Transfer Laboratory experiment, i.e., he will show the potential applicant how to conduct the experiments.  All of the grading criteria will be conducted under the strict formatted guidelines of the instructor for the course, Dr. Rudy D. Martinez, PhD, PE.  For further information about the course grading position, the prospective candidate should contact Dr. Rudy D. Martinez, PhD, PE, in the Engineering department at Texas A&M University at Galveston, PMEC Engineering Building 3027 on the second floor in room 215. 

Job Qualifications

The student must have a student classification of a second semester junior or a first semester senior level category and preferable be enrolled in the Marine Engineering Technology program the Offshore and Coastal Engineering program in the engineering department at Texas A&M University at Galveston.
