Description of Duties & Responsibilities

Student Workers: Responsible for answering & logging phone calls and emails and all classroom problems received at the IS front helpdesk.  You will also assist with checking equipment in & out via the Media Reservation Scheduling Software.

Student Technicians: Work with IS staff to troubleshoot any classroom or hardware/software problems on university/personal PC's.  Dependingo n skills, you may be assigned to help with web pages/video editing projects, etc.

Job Qualifications

ALL APPLICANTS: Need to have knowledge of computers & a basic knowledge of computer networking & common computer applications.  Applicants will also be expected to complete training for MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access to ensure you are able to troubleshoot problems that customers may have when they call into the helpdesk.

ALL APPLICANTS: Will be expected to complete ALL helpdesk training tutorials in eCampus within the first 30 days of employment.  These should be reviewed/referred to as needed throughout the semester.  These will also need to be reviewed again at the beginning of each FALL & SPRING semester.

MUST have the ability to multi-task & work with people on a variety of user levels.
