Position Details

Construction of 5 tsunami inundation maps for the GOM. This position is part of NOAA grant (#480471). This is a two years position. Tsunami Numerical modeling. 2D depth integrated model coupled with 3D full Navier-Stokes  model.

Education, Experience and Expectations

Applicants must have an earned PhD at the time of the hiring process. Ocean or engineering science or a closely related area with proven evidence of research using numerical modeling. Computer programing  knowledge, Fortran, Matlab, etc.
