University Email

Logging in to your University Email Account

Every student is given an email address. To create and log in to your email:

1. Go to and under "Email" select "New TAMU email".

2. Log into your University e-mail account using the NetID and password you just created.

3. You can also edit your directory information or change your password by going to
    and under "NetID Account Management" selecting either "Edit Directory" or "NetID Password Management".


Choose a method of receiving e-mail
You have two options:

  1. Use the web-based e-mail tool at (which can be accessed from any web browser)
  2. Configure an e-mail client to be used to read your mail.
