New Graduate Student Arrival Checklist    

Orientation

What to Bring to Orientation:

  • For those needing to park on campus: Please display your hangtag parking permit properly during Orientation.  You can purchase an annual student parking permit during the month of August by visiting http://transport.tamu.edu. To determine where to park on campus, please see “Parking and Check-In” section below.
  • Comfortable, casual shoes and clothing – please dress in layers.
  • Pen and paper
  • Make sure you know your UIN and Howdy log-in (i.e. Net-ID)

Parking and Check-In:

Orientation Check-In occurs from 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM at the Mary Moody Northern Building (Building 3004) on the Mitchell Campus.  For directions to get to the Mitchell Campus, please visit www.tamug.edu/directions.html

With your student parking permit proceed to the first entrance and park in the large lot (M201 or M200) closest to Building 3004.
