Request a Campus Tour
We host family tours on Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m. The tour begins with a presentation about admissions, financial aid, academic programs and the Corps of Cadets in the Sea Aggie Center, followed by a walking tour of the campus. The walking tour will include campus housing, classroom buildings, Mary Moody Northen Student Center, Jack K. Williams Library, the Physical Education Facility and our small boat basin. The Training Ship TEXAS CLIPPER (if available) may be an additional tour from 12-1 p.m. Please wear closed toe shoes if you wish to tour the CLIPPER. If you need to schedule a visit at a time other than Monday or Friday at 10 a.m., please contact Maria Miller at millerm@tamug.edu.

Instruction to the Mitchell Campus on
Pelican Island: Take I-45 south from Houston, which runs directly into
Broadway Blvd in Galveston. Turn left at 51st Street intersection (two
blocks past MacDonalds). Follow 51st street over the Harborside overpass
and over the Galveston ship channel bridge. You will see the main entrance
to our campus immediately to the right after you exit the bridge but do
not use the main entrance. Continue on 51st Street (now called Sea Wolf
Parkway) until you you reach the next intersection (Texas Clipper Road)
and turn right. Follow Texas Clipper Road to the SEA AGGIE CENTER, 1001
Texas Clipper Road. Visitor parking is directly in front of the building.
