STEP 1: Log in to your account at https://myfinancialaid.tamu.edu/default.asp?logout=Y

Click on the “My Documents” tab

Print out the Perkins Loan and Master Promissory Note (MPN) by clicking on the blue links “Not Received”

Continue to click on the blue links until your Perkins Loan Application and MPN appear in the new window.

STEP 2: Print the Perkins Application and the MPN

After completing the application and signing the MPN please mail both the application and the MPN to:

P.O. Box 1675

Galveston, TX 77553-1675

Please allow a couple of weeks for the document status to change on the Perkins Loan Application and MPN

STEP 3: Go to “My Awards” tab

Click on the Entrance Loan Counseling link under My Requirements

Then click on the “Begin the Counseling” button

Read through the material and answer the questions that follow making sure to submit at the bottom of each page.

After the questions, click the button “Give me credit for taking the test.”
