To accept your awards you must first activate your net id and password at https://netid.tamu.edu/cas/login?service=https://myfinancialaid.tamu.edu/default.asp

Once activated login to your account at http://myfinancialaid.tamu.edu

Complete all the documentation required.

Go to the “My Awards” tab and click on the “Begin processing aid” button.
 

STEP 1: Find the “View Only” box and drop it down to Accept or Reject for each award.

**Notice this option is not available for the PLUS loan because the PLUS loan instructions are further down on this page.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY HAD A STAFFORD LOAN AT TAMUG, YOU ARE FINISHED WITH THE ACCEPTING PROCESS AT THIS POINT.

First time TAMUG Stafford loan borrowers (this includes freshman, transfer students, and upper classmen taking out loans for the first time)

STEP 2: You will be notified by an aggnews when this step can be completed, but you can expect the loan awards will not be certified and on Loans by Web until the first week of August. You must complete the Stafford application and Master Promissory Note (MPN) on Loans By Web https://lbw.tgslc.org/LBW/start.do!  If you are not able to e-sign the MPN, please be sure you print off the MPN and send it to the LENDER! 

STEP 3: You must also attend a Stafford Entrance Counseling session offered online.
