B. Davis Scholarship
General Information:
$1,000 award
Eligibility:
This
Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well
as all students currently registered in any post secondary
institution. There is no age restriction.
Application Process:
Be
sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year
and next. This is not an academic scholarship, but they would like to
know where you are going to school now and what your future academic
plans are. Please do not send transcripts or letters of recommendation
at this time. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an
essay of less than 1000 words on this topic: Discuss, in less than
1000 words, what you would consider to be the most important issue that
society has to deal with in the next 10 or 20 years? Why do you think
this issue so important?

A&F Scholarships
General Information:
Abbott
& Fenner are committed to continuing our efforts at helping those
who have the desire and ambition to succeed. The winner(s) of this
annual scholarship will receive their award within 2 weeks of the listed
deadline. All applicants should include their full name and mailing
address with their submissions. We will be awarding up to $1,000 to the
winner(s) each year.

BigSun Scholarship
General Information:
The
BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young
athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual
scholarship to a deserving student. The award amount is $500.
Eligibility:
All
student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport
they are participating in. The successful applicant will be a high
school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently
involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.
Application Process:
Please
send a short essay answering the following three part question to
athleticawards@bigsunathletics.com: What are your most important
extracurricular or community activities? What made you join these
activities? What made you continue to contribute to them?
Deadline:
June
21, 2013 is the deadline to apply. The winner will be notified within 2
weeks and the name of the winner will be posted on the sponsor's
website at that time.

Krill Oil - Educate Your Heart Scholarship
General Information:
Everest
Nutrition's Krill Oil will be giving $1,000 to two students, pursuing
further education beyond a high school level, as part of the 'Krill Oil -
Educate Your Heart' program!
Eligibility:
- Eligibility is for any student currently enrolled in the fall/spring school year of 2012/2013 at any college, university, trade or technical school within the United States or Canada. Students must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent).
- Students must be 16 years or older at the time of enrollment.
- Must be a Canadian/American citizen or hold a valid student visa.
- Winning participants will be required to submit a photo for promotional purposes
Application Process:
Eligible students must submit an essay written around one of the two following questions:
- How has the importance of heart health impacted you, your family, or your community?
- How can an individual change his or her lifestyle to promote a healthy heart and holistic well being?
The top two essays will be chosen based on originality and creativity, but must also include:
- A title.
- A minimum of 500 words in length with a maximum of 1,000.
- Proper citation of any and all research material used.
Each applicant may only submit one essay for consideration.
Submissions should be sent via e-mail along with a cover letter
including: legal name, mailing address, telephone number, a brief
biography and the name of the school the applicant will be enrolled in

Wrought Iron Art Scholarship
General Information:
Art
Metal Workshop Inc will be giving $1,000 to two students, pursuing
further education beyond a high school level, as part of the 'Wrought
Iron Art Scholarship' program!
Eligibility:
- Eligibility is for any student currently enrolled in the school year of 2013/2014 at any college, university, trade or technical school within the United States or Canada. Students must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent).
- Students must be 16 years or older at the time of enrollment.
- Must be a Canadian/American citizen or hold a valid student visa.
- Winning participants will be required to submit a photo for promotional purposes.
Application Process:
Eligible students must submit an essay written around one of the two following questions:
- The modern use of wrought iron metals in residential construction?
- The evolution of wrought iron processing/use through 19th - 20th century.

Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest
General Information:
Entrants must submit a unique photo,
piece of artwork, or computer graphic for the front of a greeting card.
The entrant with the best design will win a $10,000 scholarship and have
his/her design made into an actual card to be sold in our line.
Eligibility:
Current student or active member of the United States Military
