Emitations.com is pleased to offer the opportunity to apply for its scholarship program, for those meeting the eligibility requirements, to assist in funding the cost of higher education.
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States, may not be an employee of Marketing Advantages International, Inc. and must meet one of the following 2 criteria:
Applicant must be a current high school student, graduating or earning a GED between January 1, 2014 and June 30, 2014 and have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale and must have taken either the ACT or SAT test. If selected, the winner must provide proof of enrollment at an accredited American college or university, provide original proof of ACT or SAT score, and provide original high school transcript.
Current freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students:
Applicant must have a cumulative college grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale, and be enrolled full-time at an accredited American college or university between November 30, 2013 and December 14, 2014. If selected, the winner must provide original college transcript from accredited American college or university.
Applicants must submit an essay of 1,000 words minimum on one of the designated topics and a copy of their most recent transcript to email@example.com. Please include your name, address, phone number, school name and year in school with your email.
1. Emitations makes beautiful jewelry accessible to everyone by making it affordable. Not everyone has a celebrity budget and therefore cannot afford certain things. If you could make something more affordable and accessible to the general public, what would it be and why?
2. How has internet shopping and social media impacted jewelry styles and fashion?
After the deadline for submitting entries, Emitations may post the essays of the finalists on its website, Facebook, Google Plus and other social media sites. Selection of the winning essay will be based partially on the number of Facebook likes, shares or comments of each essay. Selection of the winning essay will also be based on creativity, thoughtfulness, and insight by the Emitations judges. Selection of finalists, as well as the winning submissions are entirely at the discretion of Emitations. The winner will be announced January 15, 2015.
