The Art and Science of Digital Photography - Develop a Discerning Eye:

Photograph Galveston Island with your digital camera and create your own fabulous photo collection. Unique photo excursions are led by a regionally acclaimed Texas Highways magazine photographer, Robert Mihovil. Learn "by doing" and with "photography on location" at favorite island sites including historic churches, the 1894 Grand Opera House, the Railroad Museum, Moody Gardens, and coastal scenes. You will become skilled at seeing and photographing color, study about the ideal time of day (the "golden hour") to take pictures and put into practice the "rule of thirds." Critique sessions will allow you the opportunity for display and discussion amongst the group. You will be proud to take home and share your pictures with friends and family.
