Introduction
to Scientific Diving course (MARB 345/MARB 616) is intended to prepare
and qualify certified divers for entry into the TAMUG Scientific Diving
program. In order to become an AAUS (American Academy of Underwater

involve open water dives and skill tests. Students will receive

US Naval Base in Panama City, FL and at fresh dive sites near Live
Oak, FL. Water work to be done during lab sessions will include
swimming, skin diving and scuba diving tests in the pool and open
