Intro. to Methods in Research Diving
Introduction to Methods in Research Diving
Taking everything you learned in Introduction to Scientific Diving into the field in Intro to Methods in Research Diving. This is a two week class in which you will get over 20 open water dives in two weeks in Florida. The trip includes a tour of the NAVY dive school, offshore dives, cavern dives, and a seat at the NSS/CDS conference. This is a great way to solidify your diving skills. This class is only offered during the intercessional semester between Spring and Summer I sessions. 
Requirements
• NAUI Master Diver Booklet
• NAUI (Nitrox and Air) & NAVY (Air) Dive Tables
• DAN Diving Insurance (or equivalent)
• Weight Belt & Weight
• Underwater Timing Device
• Knife
• Slate
• Whistle
• 2 Dive Lights (Primary and Secondary)
• Wetsuit (recommend at least 5mm, 7mm is best)
• Mask
• Fin
• Booties
• Snorkel
• Gloves
• Hood
Certifications Received When Completed
• NAUI Master Diver
• AAUS Scientific Diver
• NSS/CDS Cavern Diver
• NAUI Nitrox Diver
• NAUI CPR, AED, SFA, BBP, E-O2, Aquatic Injuries
