Scientific Diving and SCUBA

Diving at TAMUG includes Recreational training, Scientific training, and Research diving that takes place at a variety of locations.

The Recreational Training courses include Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue, and Divemaster.

The Scientific Training program teaches multiple forms of underwater research techniques.

Research diving projects include work based in many locations throughout the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

In addition to the training option, the university is home to a student organization, the Dive Club, that sponsors local dives.
