	The weather was very hot today which made working on deck uncomfortable. It also made us appreciate the air conditioning on this ship. However work continued as usual with the day workers looking for shade to do their jobs in. Deck Training also continued today for Division 1 with the seniors attending atmospheric testing class and the sophomores learning how to tie knots and sew canvas. Fortunately these classes were held inside the ship. Our cadets standing bridge and engine watches continue to maneuver the vessel closer to our destination. Many cadets are beginning to get excited about going ashore for the first time. We arrive at Zihuantanejo, Mexico Sunday morning at approximately 7 AM. This will be an anchor port so all cadets will have to ride a launch back and forth to shore. Preparations have already started for arrival and tomorrow will be spent in getting the equipment involved with the anchoring of the ship or the transportation of the cadets ashore ready. Also everyone involved with the operation will be briefed on their responsibilities. The clocks on the ship will be advanced one hour again tonight. Therefore we will be back on Texas time.
