Trivia

What is the horsepower of the Texas Clipper II, and how many generators does the Texas Clipper II have?

Yesterday's  Answer:

ECDIS stands for "electronic chart display and information system."  The ECDIS is a computer and displays a navigational chart on the computer monitor with the ship in the middle of the screen.  The position of the ship is continuously updated by GPS and is accurate within meters assuming there are no malfunctions and the GPS signal is strong.

writingToday has been a quiet day.  Cadets are going to class and the cadets on maintenance continue to paint the outside of the ship.  A-Company cadets are stripping the deck in the officers' mess.  The weather is sunny and warm with calm seas.
