Trivia

If a ship is going 15 knots how far does it go in 12 minutes?

Yesterday's  Answer:

One knot of current equals 30 knots of wind for the same surface area.

port of san juanThis morning at 0600 the lights of San Juan were in sight.  Today, we have been running parallel to the coast approximately 3.0 miles off in order for the sophomore cadets to complete their terrestrial projects.

This evening at 1830 cadets will have formation on the flight deck and a field day will commence.  Cadets will be stripping and waxing the decks of the ship.

At 0700, gear test will commence and then at 0800 the pilot will board.  We expect to be alongside the pier at 0900 in the morning.

The weather is nice today.
