Trivia

If a vessel travels 100 feet a minute, how fast is the vessel going in nautical miles per hour?  You should be able to compute this without a calculator or pencil.

Yesterday's  Answer:
An opening in the side of a ship is called a porthole.

This morning we had clear skies and the cadets were out early shooting stars.  The weather is great, sunny and relatively calm seas.  Cadets are working on the outside of the ship and those who are relaxing can be found lying on steel beach basking in the sun.

Cadet Sinclair is navigating the ship and having celestial fixes put on the chart by his competent navigator, Cadet Cody Lynch, a.k.a. "star man".

Mate Roth has stated that A-Company has been doing a great job passing blinker light and will be the first company to blink out.
