Trivia

What does it mean to conn the ship?

stormsPrior to departure cadets conducted a field day stripping and waxing all the decks. They all did a great job. Many did not finish until 2200. The weather has been rough since we departed Ireland. The ship has taken rolls in excess of 15 degrees. No cadets have been seasick, they are used to the motion at this point. Tonight, at 1800 the pilot will board and conn the ship into Falmouth, England. Cadets are looking forward to visiting England.
