Trivia

Yesterday's  Answer:
The last port the Titanic departed was Cobh, Ireland which is approximately 9 miles from Cork.

cobh irelandThis morning formation at 0730. Afterwards cadets were granted liberty until 10000. At 1030, formation was held and cadets started having field day.

At 2000 we will depart Cork and expect to arrive in Falmouth at approximately 1800 Friday night. Departure was delayed due to high winds and the need for a second tug.

The turning basin is approximately 480' wide and the TX Clipper II is 393' long.  The turn is tight considering the winds and the current.

We should depart the Cork sea buoy at approximately 2200.
