What is a pier head jump?

Yesterday's  Answer:
Wet down a paper napkin with water and place it under the plate and cup.  This creates friction to prevent the plate and cup from sliding off the table.

At midnight, companies switched rotations.  Now A-Company is on watch, B-Company is on the bridge / engine room and C-Company is in a class.  Tonight we advance clocks again in order to be in the same time zone as Ireland when we arrive.

Today is cloudy.
