Cadets were able to shoot stars this morning and get LAN.  Now that we have a good celestial fix, Cadet Buras is navigating the ship under the watchful eye of senior Cadet Cleaver who is the cadet in charge of the watch.  We are north of the course line and Cadet Buras is figuring out the course to the next waypoint.

On the 12X16 watch, the sophomores (Zimmerman, Kennedy, Samuel, Cope, and Stanton) have been doing a great job according to Mate Roth.  They are very eager to learn and have completed a large percentage of their  terrestrial project.  Senior Cadets Cleaver, Curtis, Harper, and Bethlen have all done a great job of working with the sophomores and it shows.

Today at lunch, cadets enjoyed gourmet hamburgers served with curly fries and ice cream for dessert, a favorite among the cadets and crew.  Food was served by Cadets Ganser, Lindinger and Keil.  In the officer's mess, Cadet Lindinger did an excellent job of serving the food.
