COMPUTER Registration for Residents Halls (Cisco Clean Access)
As part of TAMUG's Computing Policy we scan all Student
computers that are attached to the University Network to make
sure they meet a minimum security configuration.
This minimum security configuration consists of virus
protection and verification that certain worms or virus are
not present on the student's computer.
In order to access the Network/Internet
from your room in the resident halls
(Hulabaloo -A dorm, Oceans- B dorm, Mariner Hall -C dorm, Pelican Island Private Student
Housing and University Apartments
Galveston), you must first download the Cisco Clean
Access Agent and install it on your computer. You
will then be prompted to login using
your NetID/Neo username and password. Downloading the
CCA Agent is done from a web page
automatically when you open your Internet browser.
