All Faculty/Staff and Students attending Texas A&M University at Galveston are required to activate a Neo Email account and Create a NetID.

Your NetID will be used to control access to a number    of systems such as: Neo Email, MyRecord, Remote Access, and WebCT. To get more

information on how to access your NEO account, click on the link below and activate your account now. If you are not sure if you have activated

your neo account, please go to Directory Information, and type in your name. 

To begin, activate your neo account and create a NetID. For instructions see - Activate Neo Email Account.

• Your "NETID" aka "neo/email name" will be used to control access to a number of systems, so we suggest using something simple "like your initials (two if no middle name) and the last four digits of your SS#. For example: John Z. Doe: email jzd0123".

• It is important that all students use their NEO email account because this is the email address that will be used to contact you with information from professors, student organizations, "Aggnews", and other TAMU University System announcements in a timely manner. 

• Access Neo by typing in the URL into any web browser window  http://neo.tamu.edu or just type neo.tamu.edu. The old TAMUG "@tamug.edu" email accounts, were changed Sept. 1, 2004 to either "@neo.tamu.edu" (for all under-graduate and graduate students) or "@tamug.edu" (for ALL Faculty/Staff).
