Network Access

The TAMUG computer network consists of wired and wireless access points across the campus and in all residence halls ( Hulabaloo, Oceans, Mariner Hall, Pelican Island Private Student Housing, and University Apartments Galveston).  In order to access the network from your room in the resident halls,  you must first download the Cisco Clean Access client and install it on your computer.  You will then be prompted to login using your NetID/Neo username and password.  

Clean Access encompasses a new network system installed during the fall. It is used in conjunction with a new software application at the desktop called the “Clean Access Agent,” which ensures that all those logging into the network have sufficient virus protection and system updates installed.

Register your Non-Windows computer with Cisco Clean Access.  This included Apple Macintosh,  Linux, Xbox and other game consoles.
