Only if you've talked to us in CIS first!!!  Due to overwhelming problems with Linux Servers on Campus, all students running Linux are now required to check in with CIS before connecting to the network.  If you are doing a fresh install, we will also ask that you install as a Linux workstation only.  If you are just starting out with Linux, setting up as a server will cause all of us more headaches than it's worth. 

Failure to comply will result in a disabled Ethernet port.
