To access the Cascade Content Management System you must first make a VPN connection to College Station.  Next you will go to http://cms.tamu.edu and you will be presented with the screen in Figure 1.

You will notice at the top left the drop down with the word “Global”.  You must change this to WWW.TAMUG.EDU so you will see the entire TAMUG web site folder.   You will then be presented with the screen shown in Figure 2.

 

 

At this point you are ready to add pages to the site.  Go to NEW and select the Department you want to make a page under “CIS” and select Standard Page for a regular web page.  Or “CIS File” to up load a file like an image,  this must be under 2 MB in size.  Or select “Standard Folder” to make a folder in the department you are working on.  You can select whether  you want the folder to show up in the “Left Menu System from a radio button while creating the folder.
