Goal of Project
Texas A&M University's existing Student Information Management System (SIMS) can no longer support the growing demands of the university. As a result, TAMU is implementing a new student system known as Compass. The new system will begin operation in Fall 2008 and will continue to be rolled out in phases over the course of the next year. The scheduled timeline is:

Admissions	August 2008
Financial Aid	February 2009
Records	April 2009
Degree Audit	September 2009
