In a very small lot of Cumaceans (15 specimens) from
British Blue Holes (submarine caves of Andros Island, the greatest island of
Bahama Archipelago, in the north-west of this archipelago), collected by drs.
Warner and Moore, between 1981-1982 (during two British expeditions) and sent to
be studied to the "Grigore Antipa" Natural History Museum from Bucharest, we
identified 6 new species of Cumella (Cumewingia) carivveana, Bacescu,
1971 and a male of Campylaspis (Bacescua) heardi Muradian-
Ciamician, 1980. The material has been provided courtesy of Dr. Mihai
