Interested in summer fisheries work in Glacier National Park?
Glacier National Park is seeking up to two motivated individuals, who
intend to return to college (undergraduate or graduate) in the fall of
2009, to assist with fisheries field work including but not limited to:
electrofishing, trapping, snorkeling, netting, water quality inventory and
monitoring, habitat inventory, as well as data entry and summary in both
front and backcountry areas of Glacier National Park.  [STEP appointment]

Approximate employment dates:  June 22-Aug 29, 2009

Housing:  Housing may be available

Compensation:  $13.18/hr (GS-4) or $14.74/hr (GS-5)

Work Schedule:  Anticipated to be four ten hour days/week, likely

Crude Oil Commercial Chartering & Operations

Student Conservation Association 

The Student conservation Society is currently accepting applications for expense-paid 12 week to 12-month intern positions in all 50 states. There are over 50 professional fields to choose from in both the national and local (Houston) level.  Earn credit and money for school and defer qualified student loans while making valuable professional contacts.

All majors accepted. Internships are in the fields of conservation, habitat restoration, cultural resources, natural resources, environmental education, life sciences, public policy, support systems engineering, and technology.

Many local summer internship opportunities are available in the lengths of 10-12 weeks.
