REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

Don't miss your opportunity to register for the best course seats available!

General information

Preregistration start dates and times by classification will be e-mailed to your TAMUG student e-mail account and are listed at the bottom of this web page.

You may register for classes using the Web interface, or your advisor in your academic department. Both systems will use your start date. NOTE: You will be denied access if you try to access the Web registration before your assigned start date.

NOTE: Before you attempt to preregister, please check that you have no blocks. You will not be allowed to register if you are blocked. Blocks may be checked on http://myrecord.tamu.edu

IMPORTANT NOTE!  The Web registration system runs on most newer versions of Netscape and Internet Explorer. Information on which browsers and versions are supported as well as necessary browser settings can be found in the “Help” section.

Registration information

Start dates and times will be assigned by classification (seniors first, juniors second, etc.) for every preregistration period.

Please note that:

  • Every eligible UNDERGRADUATE student will be assigned a start date for preregistration. Check your TAMUG student e-mail account for your start date.

  • GRADUATE students are not assigned a start date like undergraduate students. Graduate students, including G6 classification, may register any day the preregistration system is available beginning  April 7, 2008. Please check the preregistration schedule.

  • If you would like to see your advisor or your department requires advising prior to registration, you should schedule an appointment prior to your preregistration start date.

  • Beginning April 7, 2008 from 8am to midnight, the registration system is open to TAMUG students only. It will be much easier to register during this time. After April 10, 2008, TAMU-College Station students will also be registering.

  • Registration is not available on weekends or holidays
